Tambay Tayo sa Balai :)

While there's a lot of rush happening in the Metro, this place has remain its calmness & serenity.  Having been in the City everyday, a doze of nature is perfect once in a while.  Not too far from reality, you can escape to this haven.

For only 2 hours travel  you can reach Talisay Batangas via Tagaytay by car.  Just drive along Skyway then turn right to Sta. Rosa exit. Follow the main road leading to Tagaytay then turn left to an intersection.  After few meters, turn right to Ligaya Drive. This street is in front of Tagaytay City Central School.  You will pass thru a steep road so keep safe. Follow the road leading down to Talisay then turn left to an intersection.  After passing a bridge you will see Club Balai Isabel to your right.

Upon entering the vicinity you will ask to park temporarily to the right side.  This is because you can transfer in front of your villa or somewhere near after check in.

Check in went smooth.  No hassles. Very quick.  They will provide you a map because this place is certainly big.  Go ask for towels right away.  They don't have it inside the room. They will advice you to get towels by the pool area even when you are not swimming yet.

I love the exterior and interior design of their reception area.  Snug and welcoming.

Our home for  the night is at the 3rd floor of Balai Mabini located just beside the restaurant & one of the pool.  We have transferred our car in front of the villa so we can check on it from time to time.

We had our superior room at P4,928.00 overnight.  The room has a comfortable bed, LED TV, personal ref, complimentary bottled water & instant coffee.

Their comfort room is a bit old but clean.  These set of toiletries are available inside.

This is the entrance to one of their pool & their restaurant Terraza Cafe where we had lunch.
This is also the way going to their Panaderia & Pizzeria.

It feels really good when you are dining whilst looking at the nice view of Taal Lake & Taal Volcano.

Their Bagnet is to die for.  Bulalo comes in a large serving.  Soft meat.  Tasty broth. You can ask for more soup if it runs out.

Along these we had fresh ripe mango & watermelon shakes.

They have really good food but a bit pricey.

We love strolling so we had a morning walk around the vicinity.  If you wish to ride a bike you can rent it for P200 - P300 an hour. Aside from garden of plants & flowers, they also have billiard tables, basketball court, obstacle course and an old church.

Surely, you'll easily get to appreciate every corner of this place.
And guess what?  They have helipad! whoah!

It's not a surprise why some of local celebrities have chosen this place for their wedding reception.  Surely our stay is remarkable.

Aside from the stunning pool located near the Terraza Cafe, they also have a huge swimming pool just in front of the water sports activity area where the aquapark inflatable is now located.

You may opt to ride their jet ski, kayak and pedal boat by the lake.  I learned in the internet that they offer parasailing.  This is also one of the reasons why we chose Balai Isabel but they don't offer it anymore.  Partly disappointed.
3rd pool under maintenance.
There's an on going party on one of there function hall.  Would love to do one of my future events here.

When the night approaches, prepare to be astonished by a beautiful sight.  I can hear from here the vocals of the band singing at the bar behind.

Felt relaxed while having some drinks under the skies and looking at the stars & surroundings. Bonding can be very intense here :)

We are able to watch fireworks display which add up to a wonderful experience.

If you were to ask me if I will go back?
With their mouthwatering food, lovely resort, cozy rooms, splendid view of Taal Volcano?  Best check in & check out ever!   I would say - Definitely!  This place is highly recommended.

I'm actually planning to go back before the year ends.  Especially they now have Inflatable Waterpark which I want to try.  Will give you feedback and pictures about it soon :)

Ditey sa Baler (Part 2)

This is Day 2 of our Baler Adventure.  After having our breakfast at Costa Pacifica, we explored the vicinity a little bit then we decided to visit some other tourist spots here in Baler.

We rented a tricycle for our whole day of  activities. First stop was Baler Catholic Church then Quezon's Rest house.

We went to Diguisit Falls first before going to what they call the mother falls.

Another attraction is the Diguisit Rock Formation.  This place is amazing.  Seeing rocks in different shapes and forms is just awesome.

We can't swim because the water is shallow and very hot. We just preserved our excitement until we get to set our foot at the Mother Falls.

For now, all we did was - pose and click.

We really can't get enough of this place but we need to move to our next destination before sunset.
You will see this famous Baler sign along the road.  Don't forget to take a picture. Just wait for your queue and be patient.
We are now off to Ditumabo Falls, the mother of all falls.

This is where the tricycle ride ends. Manong driver told us that the road going to Ditumabo Falls will not be easy. It is a one hour trek. But he was very much willing to accompany us and take our pictures.
We played a little under this smaller falls. Felt revitalised.

Here we are :)

After a lengthy walk we can now sense the clear and cold water of this falls.

Of course we cannot go nearer because its too dangerous. Be careful.  Make sure you are wearing sandals or slippers.

After taking a plunge all the weariness are gone. Renewed :) Refreshed :)

Went back to our hotel tired but fulfilled. We talked to Manong tricycle driver if he can still pick us up later that evening so that we can go bar hopping and party baler way and he agreed.

While waiting for him this is what happened --
Happy Independence Day Pretty Girls :)

Night life at Baler is quite boring.  If you are looking for a place like Boracay at night, this may not be the place for you. We finished a pitcher of cocktail then we decided to have some coffee.

We standby Dialyn's Bakeshop. Their Kiwi cupcake is one of the many reasons why I am going back to Baler. I am not a fan of cupcakes. Been looking for the one I will be calling "Best Cupcake Ever". Then I found this :) Kiwi Cupcake is ♥ (forgot about the other cupcake :) hihihi )

By the way, we enjoyed eating at Ram's Tapsilog.  Affordable yet great food.

Time to say goodbye. Its been an unforgettable Independence Day celebration for us :)
See you again soon, Baler!
